NOT longer! Your explanation makes sense too.

Defining what makes a web series SPECIAL is usually something creators have a hard time with. They believe everything about their series is special--kinda like asking a filmmaker who their target audience is for a movie and they say EVERYBODY. People like me look for the story inside the story--those unique elements in storyline, character, location, props/wardrobe and anything else I can spin off it.

Thanks sharing!

Miles Maker
Producer of Marketing and Distribution
"12-Steps to Recovery," a Romantic Comedy Web Series
http://www.youtube.com/12st...

Re: How To Pitch Me Your Web Series

No fake moustaches as of yet, but we have based our entire webseries on a cat.
Below is a link to the pilot episode of Little Cat Version of Me.
You can also check us out on our "nice website": littlecatversionofme.com

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: How To Pitch Me Your Web Series

This webisode has fake moustaches...on ladies too!
http://www.youtube.com/cack...

Re: How To Pitch Me Your Web Series

My series has fake mustaches. www.MartyAndDougsNewReligio...

Re: How To Pitch Me Your Web Series

All of these are great points, that I couldn't agree with more!

However how do you think pitching a webseries differs between in an email and IN PERSON?

I would love your input...

http://michaelmurray.tv/new...

Michael Murray

Re: How To Pitch Me Your Web Series

Great tips. Bottom line is most content writers need to take a course in PR writing or read a PR for Dummies book. Your submission(ers) should write to you with some common sense and actually put some passion into it. Anything submitted for a review can also, pending qualification, be listed and cataloged in my web series guide at slebisodes.com.
